It features a hipped wooden-framed roof covered with local tiles, supported by square-section stone pillars. The tank has a rectangular plan with a central division, creating two sections at diferent levels. It is built in granite with large inclined slabs on three of its sides.
It receives water through an opening at the upper part and drains through the lower one, until it reaches a pool that is currently stagnant.
On one of the pillars, there is a plaque with the engraved inscription "J.A.M (Junta de Ayuda al municipio)", alongside the yore and arrows symbol and the year 1952.
