O Brosque Watermills Conxunto de muíños

Complex of three mills located in O Brosque, in the neighbourhood of Cotro. They are linked to the Pazo do Brosque, located just a few metres away. They are made of rubblework, irregular ashlar stones and stone-carving pieces, which are more carefully worked on the doorways and windows. It also has large slabs on the ground. All three mills featurea gabled roof covered with tiles as a result of a recent renovation. They have a single inferno, and the stone support and the millstone are still preserved on the inside. There are also some cross markings and other elements on the wall. Notable inscriptions are found on the door lintels: On the first one: “RENOVADO/ 1737”, which suggest an earlier origin. On the second one: the upper inscription is heavily deteriorated and can not be read, but the date 1832 is inscribed below.
