Arrotea Neighbourhood Stone Cross Cruceiro

This Stone Cross, located in Outeiro do Sobral, was donated by local resident Eva María Domínguez Ramos after participating in the stone-carving workshop of the Escola Obradoiro Camiño de Santiago in Tomiño. Standing on a quadrangular step, the monument features a prismatic base framed by prominent mouldings at its lower and upper sections. The front displays a scallop shell in relief, alluding to the Way of St. James, while the left side bears the date of construction. Above the base, a square-section shaft with bevelled corners supports a capital crowned by a cross. Inscription on the left side of the base: “2004”.
