A Igrexa Alms box Esmoleiro

It is dedicted to Our Lady of the Pilgrim an is located in the roundabout of the Cultural centre of the parish church of Santiago de Estás since 2005. Its base is cylindrical and supports a pedestal resting the square-section shaft. It has a Corinthian capital that serves as a support for the figure of the Virgin of Pilgrim. This statue changed its orientation in 1975. There are different inscriptions in diverse areas of the monument, as well as a centenary commemorative plaque on the ground. Below the capital: "S XX". On the base: "CONSTRUIDO EL AÑO 1905" / "UNION DE LOS VECINOS Y CONVECINOS / DEVOTOS DE LA V DE LA PEREGRINA / SIENDO ABAD D JOSE BARRAL CARBALLO" The box for the alms is no longer in use.
