A Gandariña Stone Cross Cruceiro

It is located in A Gandariña, in the parish of Sobrada. It features three steps on which rests a quadrangular base with chamfered corners. The cylindrical and plain shaft is topped by a capital decorated with plant motifs, includign roses and palm leaves combined with volutes. There is a cross of cylindrical arms on top of the shaft, which displays, on one side, the Virgin Mary on a pedestal (held by a metal wire). On the other side, there is a figure of the Crucified Christ accompanied by an angel, who appears to collect Christ's blood with a holy chalice.
