A Fonte Alms Box Esmoleiro

It rests on a wall, in A Fonte, within the parish of Figueiró, just a few metres from the parish church. It features a simple granite structure with a prismatic base supporting a chapel with a mixtilinear profile and a curved pediment. The niche contains a figure of Our Lady of Mount Carmel with the Child Jesus in high relief, almost as a free-standing figure. On its front, there is an iron plate with an opening for the alms. A quadrangular ledge stands out, decorated with a sawtooth architecture. It was relocated a few metres from its original location on the 1990s.
